Valentine’s Day is a day when we remember and honor those we love, especially those for whom we have romantic love, such as a fiancé or spouse. Prior to marriage, the excitement and passion of new love leads many to advocate that they would go to great lengths for the one they love. Love songs attest to some of those feelings.

Nice sentiments, but would you REALLY climb a mountain or swim a river for me? Further, even if you had the BEST intentions, could you actually do it?
After several years of marriage and the initial excitement having long abated, you may celebrate your spouse with a card or maybe some flowers or a box of chocolate. How awesome would it be to be pursued by a love of that degree ...
